Letter From The Bajemas

Dear New Life Family,

Please find below an update from Brandon and Robyn. We have been praying for them this year and they have some news for us. We love them and will miss them dearly. They are part of our family. Please keep them in your prayers in the coming weeks as they do everything they need to do to transition well.

In Him,

Pastor Andy

Dear New Life Church,

It feels like we have done this before, saying goodbye. Well we have. It was hard before, and now it is even more difficult. We have learned a couple of things since we last wrote an update to the congregation. The first is that God is always good and at work even during the most challenging times in our lives. Second thing is just how important it is to follow God when He opens doors, even if that is not always an easy door to walk through.

Recently we have been seeking God’s will for our lives. Brandon has been applying to different positions both locally and nationally. In June, there was a door that opened in Ripon, California. We traveled there in July and visited the church as a family. We felt like it was a great place that we could call home and a place where we could do the ministry we feel that God is calling us to. Since then, we have been praying over this possibility and they extended a call to us, which we accepted. Although we will miss Houston and the family and friends we will leave, we know we need to trust that God’s will is good and He has the best laid plans for us. We are trusting Him during this process, and can’t wait to see how he will use this phase of life to draw us ever closer to Him.

I want to thank New Life for the opportunity that I have had to serve as a Christian Counselor. I have learned a lot and enjoyed the chance to serve people in this community in the capacities that I have. New Life has always been a special place to our family and I couldn’t be more grateful to the council for believing in me and the congregation for supporting me. I am a born and raised Texas girl and have lived here my entire life. Texas will always be home and New Life Church will always be our family.

All of you have impacted our lives greatly and we will cherish all the memories we have made with each of you and the memories are not over- we are hoping that you will start making some plans to visit us in Cali :–). If we began to list off everyone who has impacted us, this email would turn into a sentimental list of the entire congregation. As we begin this next journey, please pray for us as we go through all the logistics of moving and the process of saying “see you later”.  Lastly we just want to say thank you to our church and our school for the ways that you have helped shape and form the lives of our family.

This is not goodbye, but see you soon! We love you all!

In Him,

Robyn and Brandon Bajema
