The Bible says we are members of Christ’s body (Ephesians 5:30). As such, there are many benefits and responsibilities. It is impossible to be a part of Christ’s universal church without being part of a local church. Nor is it healthy. Church membership runs counter to our individualistic culture, but we lift this up as God’s gift to us and a wonderful way to grow in your faith and serve others using your gifts.

Here are five steps to becoming a member:
Step 1: Receive Jesus Christ as your Savior
Step 2: Attend Front Porch to meet people and explore an introduction to New Life
Step 3: Prepare for baptism or profession of faith, if applicable, with First Things
Step 4: Meet with an Elder
Step 5: Baptism, or reception as new member
NOTE: Front Porch and First Things are usually offered the 1st and 2nd Sunday after church, respectively. Please contact the church office for more information.
